No Hunting

Your safety in the Mountains

As you are aware you can not take your safety too seriously when heading into the hills.  Snow conditions, steep terrain and variable weather combine to make time in the mountains a challenge.  Please ensure you, or someone in your party has the required avalanche safety skills to assess conditions.  If no one in your party has the relevant skills then find someone who has or hire a guide to go with you.  Before leaving home you must check your avalanche transceivers are working and carry spare batteries.  Make sure your party know how to use their transceivers in search mode and that they carry probes and shovels.  We also strongly encourage you to have at least 2 Personal Locator Beacons per group.

4 x 4 Vehicle Drivers

  • I agree that my vehicle has a current WOF, and I will stay on the designated formed track at all times.

  • I have no medical condition or injury that could impair my judgement.

  • I release, waive, indemnify and hold harmless Glenmore Station, having permitted access on land under their control, from and against claims, losses, damages or expenses (including legal costs) that may occur during our time on their land.

  • If I am not a resident of New Zealand, I declare that I will not attempt to commence any legal action in another country.
